Antique Khersones

Ruins of it are remnants of defensive walls, dwellings buildings, public buildings, basements, wells and numerous rural farmsteads outside the city - lay at the area of modern Sevastopol. The city was existing two thousand years ago.

The city-museum is a historical archeological monument of world value. For 200 years, the archeological digging is in progress emerging. They gave the world striking and beauty sculptures, paintings, precious decorations, architectural details, inscriptions, chinks, tools and articles of way of life.

During the excursion you’ll see the ancient settlement, ancient theater, defensive walls and barracks, basilicas, place of christening of Prince Vladimir, ancient and medieval halls of the Chersonesskiy preserve, exhibitions of holograms and the restored Vladimirskiy cathedral.
